Our VIROFIGHT General Assembly Meeting 2024 was held on June 11–12, at the Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus, Denmark. As the final General Assembly of the project, it provided a great platform to review the progress achieved and to discuss the final steps required to wrap up our project.

The participants began with a city tour of Aarhus, which was not only an opportunity to explore the local culture but also to exchange with consortium members. A working dinner followed, where members reflected on the key achievements of the project and exchanged beyond sience. The second day was dedicated to the progress reports of the individual work packages. All partners shared updates on their specific tasks and contributions. These sessions underscored the collective effort and innovative approaches within the consortium.

The atmosphere throughout the meeting was one of productivity and mutual support  and the scenic venue contributed to a great project meeting, leaving everyone with a strong sense of accomplishment and focus on the last milestones ahead.The General Assembly concluded with closing remarks and the commitment to finish the project on a high note and to maximize its impact in the scientific community.
